Hip & Pelvis Treatments
Treatments can vary depending on the injury and the condition of the patient. Oftentimes a surgeon will recommend a surgical procedure if non-surgical treatments, like medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle adjustments do not reduce the symptoms.
Surgical treatments are difficult decisions and can be stressful. Dr. Bellino believes it is important to be comfortable with your decision and confident about the procedure to be performed.
Surgical Treatment Options
A minimally invasive procedure involving a small incision near the front of the hip to remove damaged bone and cartilage, and implantation of an artificial hip.
A specialized minimally invasive orthopedic surgical procedure which involves placing very small cameras and instruments through very small incisions and portals in and around the hip joint.
A surgical procedure involving a series of bone cuts around the hip socket to re-orient and improve coverage over the femoral head.
A surgical procedure to realign or reduce the bones as precisely as possible to prevent the development of post-injury related problems.
